1. Watch out for hidden fees. At JUMP-TANDEM, there are no hidden charges—everything is included in the price. Some providers may add extra costs such as fuel surcharges, parking fees, equipment rental, or other additional charges.
2. Check the jump altitude. If you book a 4,200 m skydive with JUMP-TANDEM, you'll actually jump from 4,200 m. With some providers, you may book a 4,200 m jump, only to discover upon arrival that you need to pay a fuel surcharge—or you'll be jumping from just 2,900 m instead.
3. Consider how many drop zones the company operates. JUMP-TANDEM is the only company in the Czech Republic that owns two dedicated skydiving aircraft, allowing us to operate regular jumps at two drop zones. Companies that rent a single aircraft but advertise jumps at ten or more locations can realistically visit each drop zone only once or twice a year. If the scheduled date doesn't suit you or the weather turns bad, you'll have very limited alternatives.
The validity of the voucher can only be extended by one additional year at the time of purchase. Once the voucher has been purchased, it is no longer possible to extend its validity.
We carefully monitor the weather forecast at all times. If unfavorable conditions are expected, we will contact you no later than the day before your scheduled jump to let you know that the tandem skydive cannot take place and arrange an alternative date.
Despite the most accurate weather forecasts and careful evaluation of meteorological data, weather conditions can change unexpectedly—even on the day of your skydive or after you have already arrived at the drop zone. If conditions are not suitable, the jump cannot be carried out to ensure your safety.
Yes, you can. However, if we do not know in advance, it is possible that there may not be enough space on the aircraft for an external cameraman. We recommend adding photo and video documentation when making your reservation, by phone, or at the latest during online check-in.
Prescription glasses are not a problem. We provide special skydiving goggles that can be worn over regular glasses to protect your eyes from airflow. Contact lenses are also safe to wear during the skydive.
No, a medical certificate is not required to participate in a tandem skydive.
There is no need to worry. This is one of the advantages of choosing experienced professionals like JUMP-TANDEM. Just before landing, the tandem instructor slows down the descent enough that the impact on your knees is comparable to stepping down from a single 20 cm high step. Any harder impact is absorbed by the tandem instructor, who touches the ground first.
The following conditions apply for a tandem skydive: The maximum weight of a tandem passenger is 115 kg and the minimum age is 8 years. Participants under the age of 18 may only take part with the consent of a legal guardian. However, the skydive is not suitable for people with epilepsy, serious heart conditions, or severe mental disabilities.
For a tandem skydive, we recommend comfortable sports clothing and suitable sports shoes, such as sneakers or trainers.
Od 1.4. do 31.10. každý týden na obou letištích dle seskokového kalendáře.
At JUMP-TANDEM, we work only with professionals who have completed thousands of successful jumps. Many of our instructors are current or former members of the national skydiving team. All of our tandem parachutes are equipped with an automatic activation device that can deploy the parachute in an emergency. Every tandem system also includes a fully functional reserve parachute.
The total load of the tandem system must not exceed 235 kg. A tandem parachute system weighs approximately 30 kg, and our tandem instructors have an average weight of up to 90 kg. This means that the remaining weight allowance for the passenger is 115 kg.
The best option is definitely a skydive from 4,200 m. This is the highest altitude you can reach without oxygen equipment, and the freefall—the most exciting part of the skydive—lasts around one minute.
A jump from 3,000 m is the basic option. The freefall is reduced to the absolute minimum, lasting approximately 20 seconds. It is still better than not jumping at all, but we recommend upgrading to experience the full thrill of a 4,200 m skydive.
A skydive from 6,000 m is more demanding both physically and mentally, as the air pressure is only about half of what it is at ground level. For mountaineers, this altitude is known as the “death zone,” where oxygen equipment is normally required. You will have an oxygen supply available during the aircraft flight, but your physical condition plays an important role during the jump itself.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, special requirements apply for this type of jump. Before the skydive, your BMI must be between 17 and 30.
Be aware that many dishonest agencies and companies advertise skydives from 3,000–4,000 m, but these jumps are often actually performed only from 3,000 m.
